Foster Wales Carmarthenshire is the new name for your Local Authority fostering service.

We are part of the national network of all 22 Welsh Local Authority fostering services, working together to build better futures for local children. The Foster Wales Carmarthenshire team is your local fostering provider and support network. We’re not your standard fostering service; we’re far more connected.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we’re dedicated to working as a team with foster carers to help build brighter futures for local children in the Carmarthenshire area. We help them stay in their familiar local environments, when it’s right for them.

Currently in Carmarthenshire there are hundreds of children and other young people that need a caring, loving family to foster them.  By becoming a foster carer, you can help make a huge difference to a child or young persons’ life. There are lots of different types of foster care placements available to suit your individual needs and circumstances.

We are looking for both experienced and new carers from all backgrounds to transform a child and young persons’ life forever.
