Beach Safety

Care should always be taken when swimming in the sea.  It can be very deceptive.

Yellow telephones near estuaries, harbours and beaches are to be used in an EMERGENCY only.

Do NOT vandalise these telephones as lives depend on them!

Contact 0800 154 022 if you feel they require maintenance

Dogs should be kept under control and not allowed to disturb other beach users and wildlife.  Do not allow your dog to foul as it poses a serious health risk to all, especially children.  Be responsible and take plastic bags with you.  Llansteffan and Cefn Sidan beaches have byelaws banning dogs from 1st May to 30th September each year.
