What support is available to staff worried about their financial position?
Pay Protection will apply to members of staff who are suffering a loss on basic pay and any eligible enhancements and allowances as a result of their new grade and / or changes to terms and conditions and will protect 100% of their loss up to 31st March 2013, on receipt of a signed COT3. Additional support will be available in the form of financial / budgeting advice and assistance in applying for other jobs.

The council will support all staff throughout the implementation of single status. If anyone wants more information on single status specifically and would like to discuss their situation, they can call the single status helpline for support and advice from 1st September 2011 on * 01267 246200 - open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm Friday. Their line manager will also be able to support and answer any questions.
