The Domiciliary Care Strategic Working Group was set up in April 2008.  The core group comprises representatives from the Independent Sector, In House, the Training Section, Hywel Dda Health Board and the Commissioning and Contracting team.  The group is able to draw on the specialist knowledge and expertise of individuals as required.

The meetings are held on a bi-monthly basis and one of the purposes of the group is to take forward the Domiciliary Care Commissioning Strategy and ensure that its recommendations are followed through.  The group also shares information on good practice and the current trends in domiciliary care.
