This Guide has been compiled by the council’s Sustainable Development Team in collaboration with Antur Teifi, who carried out the original research.

A Guide to Sustainable Living in Carmarthenshire is an easy source of reference, outlining the many issues that sustainable development encompasses, and suggesting some actions individuals, and groups, can take to make a more positive contribution to sustainable living in Carmarthenshire.

The scope of the guide covers the whole range of lifestyle choices that people take in their everyday lives, which have some impact on their environment. As well as information about recycling and conservation of resources, the guide also includes information from a local perspective about healthy living, environmental education, community involvement, and 'ethical ' money matters.
