l Dangerous Structures
The term 'Dangerous structure' covers not only buildings or parts of buildings ie loose slates or tiles, but such things as garden walls, fences or hoardings. In fact, any structure which could by its condition endanger persons. Further information can be viewed on this page.
l Demolition
The Building Act of 7 July 1994 requires that the Local Authority is advised in writing of any intended demolition. This applies to any demolition of the whole or part of a building. There are very limited exceptions. Further advice on demolition work can be viewed on this page.
