Anyone who lives, works or studies in Carmarthenshire can become a member of any of the Regional, Branch or Mobile libraries in the county.  All you'll need is to fill in the membership form, show something that has your name and address, and then you can start using the library. 

It is also possible to join online, please be aware you will need to produce identification at your local library before your account can be fully activated.

How many item(s) can I borrow?

Its FREE to join the library, and once you have been given your card, adults can borrow the material from the following categories;

Books		up to 10
CD/Talking Books/CDRoms		up to 10
eAudiobooks		up to 10
DVDs		up to 5

The staff are there to help you, so don't be afraid to ask if you can't find what you are looking for, or need some information.

How long can I keep the item(s) I borrow?

Books/Talking Books		up to 21 days
CDs/CDRoms		up to 21 days
eAudiobooks		up to 21 days
DVDs		up to 7 days

Can I keep it longer?

Any item can be renewed if no-one else has requested it.  To renew items, please contact your local library before the loan period is over, or bring the items into the library and one of the library staff will renew them for you.

If you prefer to use the internet, go to our libraries catalogue and renew from there - please ask your local library for your account PIN number to be generated so you can access the online service.
