Carmarthenshire Local Development Plan (LDP) Work has commenced on preparation of the Carmarthenshire Local Development Plan (LDP). Currently, interested parties are invited to recommend ‘candidate sites’ for future development or protection. The deadline for submissions is 5th September 2008
		Draft Regional Transport Plan The Regional Transport Plan (RTP) is the result of joint working between the four local authorities in south west Wales and replaces the individual local transport plans previously adopted by the 4 councils. 		New kerbside recycling service for 10,000 homes The county council is expanding its blue bag scheme and is collecting food waste for the first time. The move will help the county to meet tough recycling and landfill targets.
