Applications pending decision

This option list all applications pending a decision and as such represents the stock of valid planning applications that are being processed by the Council.

You can refine your search by dates, geography and types as follows:-.

Selection criteria can be used to refine the search. These are ward, parish, application type, development type and date
The information provided on the Register* is as follows:-

  • Application details (summary)- lists key information associated with the application including decision, decision date, appeal information (if applicable) and development type
  • Applicant Details- name and address of the applicant. In line with our understanding of the Data Protection Act, this information is normally taken off the web 6 months after the decision has been made
  • Agent details- name and address of the agent submitting the application on behalf of the applicant. In line with our understanding of the Data Protection Act, this information is normally taken off the web 6 months after the decision has been made
  • Receive email updates- if the application is subject to significant revision then you will be automatically updated if you so request for a period of 6 months. This option is switched off after a decision has been made
  • Consultations- this lists the addresses of both statutory consultees and those households we have consulted ( Please note this option runs a little slowly)
  • Progress/Progress Chaser: once an application becomes valid, its progress to decision (or appeal) can be tracked using different stages to identify the key steps to a decision. This option is switched off after a decision has been made
  • Planning policy: you can look up the planning application site on our local plan proposals map and cross check against our current planning policies using the Planning Portal
  • Appeal details (if applicable): this takes you to an appeal summary listing key information about the progress of the appeal.
  • View documents: clicking on this option takes you into our scanned documents system where the application form, plans and drawings, third party letters, (as from August 2005), officer’s report/committee report and decision notice may be found. Documents considered confidential are not shown
  • View mapping: work is progressing on this option which will enable you to view the application site and its surroundings and view constraints
  • Submit comments: this option offers you the opportunity to submit comments on a current application. This option is switched off after a decision has been made

*Please note that some of the options provided are not available for planning applications that have a decision. These are Agent and Applicant names and addresses (after six months), Receive e-mail updates, Submit Comments, Appeal Details ( as appropriate) and Progress Chaser
