The type of support that carers need or ask for can be very different.  Any support provided should be as a result of a carers' assessment.  However, we are very aware that not all carers have received an assessment, perhaps some don't want an assessment, but would still like basic support such as signposting or information.

We have established (and will continue to build on) a Carers' Support Workers Network in Carmarthenshire.  These workers are based within the Voluntary Sector in the main and cover most areas of disability.
