To enable us to trace the copy certificates you require, we would appreciate if you could supply as much of the following information as possible:-

- Parent's Names
Copy Death Certificates

- Place of Marriage e.g. Parish of Church/Chapel
A five-year search is carried out for each request, which includes the year stated and also two-years either side. Postal applications take less than three working days, whilst callers are dealt with as soon as possible.
Any records prior to 1837, please contact Carmarthenshire Archives Service.
I would also advise you that our indexes are established for the purposes of registration duties, and are not tied to pedigrees or families. We will not know for example, whether a person had any other children, or whether they had a brother or sister etc.
The fact that a person lived in a particular area or that he/she was buried in a certain place does not mean that they were born there or that they died there.
