What Do We Provide?

Carmarthenshire County Council's Substance Misuse Team is a team of social workers who help people experiencing problems with their own or someone elses use of drugs or alcohol.

We aim to complement the other services by helping people who have the greatest risks.

We can help people aged 18 and over who live or are registered homeless in Carmarthenshire and must consent to meet with the team.

Sometimes the family are the one's most affected by someone's substance misuse.  We can offer a range of services to try and tacke this, including carer's assessments, financial assistance, informal support and timeout for carers.

Form more information regarding the team and how to make a referral download the information leaflet Substance Misuse Team - How can we help?
