The Development and Management section deals with many types of planning applications. These can include extensions, garages, new dwellings, changing the use of existing land or buildings, altering buildings, construction of new buildings, displaying advertisements and works to listed building.

E-planning is an online service that allows you to search for and view planning applications, and associated appeals and is updated in real time.
The planning information is not a full history of any site and it should not be regarded as an alternative to the information provided through a formal local land charges search.
Although the Council tries to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information provided it makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness or suitability for any purpose of the information and does not accept any responsibility for its use or reliance.

If you require copies of pre 2004 planning decision notices that are currently not available online, please email: planningsearches@carmarthenshire.gov.uk (there is no charge for this service).
Current Applications
The website is updated daily. Application details will be available for viewing 1 working day from the date of registration.
We do not publish documents, which contain personal, medical or financial details of individuals that are contained in the planning application or supporting documents, unless there is a legitimate reason to do so. We will also remove/edit out any signatures and any information relating to email addresses and telephone numbers.
Decided Applications
The decision notice and plans, will be available for viewing 4-7 working days from the date of decision for applications received since 1 January 2004. In accordance with PARSOL guidelines, all other documents will not be displayed once the application is determined.
Copyright
Plans, drawings and other material submitted to the local authority are protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (section 47). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.
