Carmarthenshire’s Policy, Research and Information Section which is situated within the Customer Focus and Policy Division takes the lead on the development of a research and information service to support the County Council, and the public and also works with Local Service Board partner organisations.
The Section collects, collates and analyses a range of statistics from a number of different sources to support the work of council departments. These pages provide information on the resident population of Carmarthenshire as well as data on the economic and social status of the areas in which they live.
The information on this site is updated as new data becomes available – visit the "Other stats and latest releases page" for the latest information available.
These pages are categorised into distinct themes in order to help you search for the information you require, however, should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Policy Research & Information Officer.
