The Business Team are based at the Rural Development Centre at Nant-y-ci and provide direct business support to new and exisiting business owners in Carmarthenshire. We handle all aspects of business enquiries and provide a gateway to business support for our ratepayers, offer advice and investment support to growing companies and make regulations and legislation more accessible.

Our services are delivered in conjunction with other county council departments such as Trading Standards, Planning, the West Wales European Centre and Community Business Support. We also link in with a network of public and private sector organisations that include local enterprise agencies and the Welsh Government, National Assembly for Wales and Visit Wales.

Through the INTERREG IIIA Community Initiative Programme and the Celtic Enterprise & Busines Support Network, the Business Team have developed Managing your business brochures to assist established business owners or people who want to start their own.
